Lough Gur is one of Ireland’s most important archaeological sites. The visitor centre tells the story of Pre-Celtic Ireland dating back to 3000 BC.
It is evident why people settled there so long ago, it is also one of the most beautiful places in County Limerick and situated in the heart of the Golden Vale a rich pastureland.
